R.I.P. WAYNE FROST

Were a little late on this, but we felt it was necessary to show respect to a true pioneer of this Hip Hop culture we love so much.

Wayne Frost, a hip-hop pioneer known as Frosty Freeze who helped inspire a worldwide break-dancing craze in the early 1980s as a member of the influential group Rock Steady Crew, died on Thursday April 3rd in Manhattan. He was 44.

I went to Frosty Freezes funeral and a jam in his honor. They were both dope. Not that funerals are suppose to be dope, but death has a certain way of bringing people to life. Even in death Frosty Freeze exemplified what a BBOY is and what HIP-HOP culture was created to do. Frosty brought feuding parties together under the same roof. Boiling blood was cooled as friends and enemies alike joined hands in reverence for a Brother to us all. Outside the music was jamming and there was a representative of every generation of HIP-HOP present from the beginning, Africa Bambata to the future, Mega's baby (who was rocking the beat).

I will cut this short, just wanted to comment though! Fresh Produce is dope!

HIP-HOP is unity. Period!
